Keio needs to work on its international reputation. Within Japan it's widely ranked as a top university. However, internationally it only ranks 320th in the world (2012 Times Higher Education World University Rankings).
Nagoya University maintains a healthy international environment. Currently about 13% of undergraduates are foreign students.

Tsukuba University is ranked 172nd in the world (QS World University Rankings). Its alumni include 3 Nobel laureates. Tsukuba's campus is the largest in Japan (636 acres).
